Our Guy Simon

Simon J. Mariani, from Franklin Lakes, NJ; was a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame cum laude, where in 2019 he received undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Economics. He worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for 3 years and earned his CPA before returning to the University of Notre Dame, where in 2024 he received a Master’s in Finance (MBA) magna cum laude. Driven, dedicated, smart, likeable and exceptionally talented, Simon was currently working as an Associate at MTS Health Partners in NYC, where he was respected and admired by colleagues for his intellect, integrity, teamwork, sense of humor and strong work ethic.

Outside of his professional life, Simon embraced all things family. He loved family dinners with lots of conversation. Simon enjoyed photography, painting and baking. Simon also loved the outdoors – the Jersey shore, boating, fishing, hiking, golfing and skiing. He enjoyed playing and watching various sports including soccer, football, hockey, baseball and Formula 1. His favorite teams were the New York Yankees, New Jersey Devils, New York Jets, the Irish of Notre Dame and ManU. Simon’s family game night favorites were Catan, Trekking the National Parks, Risk, Scooby-Doo Group Photo and Euchre. He also enjoyed bowling, darts, cornhole and fantasy sports.

Simon was extremely close to his two younger sisters, Samantha and Sophia and together with their parents, Kathy and Scott, they routinely called themselves Team Mariani.

Simon’s love for his family, career, the outdoors and sports reflected his zest for life.
